The practical knowledge and the collective wisdom passed down from generation to generation have shaped the habits and daily lives of each of us who grew up in these lands.

The main goal of Havrani is to establish a network that will secure the continuing existence of the production and consumption habits we've inherited.

We invite you, our valued guests, to be at the center of this network.

Our goal is to help Havrani's guests to experience, remember and re-embrace the wisdom shaped through Şanlıurfa's thousands of years old history with a multi-layered cultural structure.

We supply seasonal crops from over 20 local producers that grow heirloom seeds. Whatever there is in the garden is included in our recipes.

 

Our recipes and menu vary based on what we have at hand. Every season our kitchen is home to dozens of different herbs and spices, which are processed through traditional methods, and served to our guests who want to access pesticide-free and nutritious food.

 

We aim to encourage more local producers to turn to traditional agricultural practices that work in harmony with humans and animals. We support production methods that nourish the soil and protect the biodiversity of Şanlıurfa, the city once at the zero point of history.
